⚠️Incoming⚠️Bubble wrapped 2×4 to the head! Here's what happened. 🪵🫧🤕😬🙏🩷

I was rummaging through my closet finding things to donate to the people devastated by hurricane Helene. I was throwing the remainding coats into a trash bag (I had already gone through my closet once for our yard sale) I came to my North Face winter coat.....I looked at it and thought, I may need this this winter.....and I like it....and it was pricey, I didn't want to buy another..... So, I left it in my closet. Then God, hit me in the head with a bubble wrapped 2x4. Not really, 🤣 but it felt like it. He reminded me of the story in the Bible about the poor widows offering found in Mark 12:41. Everyone came to give an offering. The widow gave everything she had, which was less then everyone else. Jesus said that the widow had given the most even though she had given the least amount. It's not about what you have, it's about what you give. It's about what you give in your heart and why you do it. Needless to say, that winter coat is in trash bag going to help someone in need. I don't tell you this story to make you feel guilty, or sad, and you may not be asked to give your only winter coat. Hopefully, you don't need a velvet 2x4 covered in bubble wrap, but if you do, 🙋‍♀️ 🤦‍♀️ listen to God's spirit that is moving your heart. Then take action.

Father God, we love you. Thank you for today! Thank you for supplying all of our needs. Holy Spirit, give us hearts like our Father. Give us hearts like the poor widow, not giving because we have plenty but give becasue we want to give everything we have to you. We want to blaze for you! We want to be pleasing to you in eveything we do. Jesus we love you!

We lift up all the people affected by the hurricane and we ask for your spirit to move through the hearts and minds of them. We ask for provisions and surplus! Give them supernatural power and comfort as they rebuild and give them joy. I ask you set angel armies around those people to keep demonic oppression and influence away, in Jesus name! By the power of the Holy Spirit, on earth as it is in Heaven, AMEN!
